Greetings Horsers...from way over here in Florida!...well, it wasn't without a gaggle of odd things that happened...
We had never taken the red eye before...left at 10:45 at night...thankfully, a non-stopper...so...
The cabbie that picked us up...his first day on the job...and...he couldn't get the Prius started...a sign of things to come...
There were a few people at the Alaska terminal...well...we were in the quick line...seeings I used miles and got us 1st Class Tix...but alas, our line didn't move...and 30 minutes later...we got to the agent...it was her first day on the job, too...another rookie...we made sure our bags were sent to Orlando...
The flight was delayed...25 minutes...OK...and when we actually boarded...we had to wait a bit more...the crew wasn't there yet...so the departing ones got us all set until the late peops arrived...
Trip was a breeze...barely more than 4 hours...a positive...
Our Hertz rig was waiting and ready to go...another pos...things were looking up until, we...
Got to our condo...we were there at 8 am....and the room wasn't ready...until at least 3!...so...we went to the pool...laid out for a couple of hours...got burnt...swam...then went to get something to eat...well now...tried to get into the room...nope, not until the entire floor is done will they let you (us) in...even though the room was ready...OK now...I haven't slept for 25 hours...
Decided to put our bags in the office...but wait...we can't get the car's trunk open...and then...we couldn't get the top down...OMG!...30 minutes of reading the manual...still no luck...fortunately, there was a Hertz place 5 minutes away...took it there...
They were stumped...and then, one of them blokes...hit the trunk with his fist!...it popped open...what?...and the way the car is constructed, the trunk has to have a shield in just the right position for the top to work...in other words, no flight bags in it...what?...anyway, it was all working now...
OK, let's go get some milk and stuff...
Figure if we go to the grocery store and stock up...that will kill the time...and then...
The storm hit!...rained like hell...the thunder was right on top of us...and so was the lightning...and we just stood at the railing of our place...huddled up...
Finally at 3, we got our place...by 4 pm we went to sleep...
For 14 hours!....
Yup, kids, this is Florida...sounds inviting, doesn't it....

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
