Natural Disaster
Good morning kids...if this is your first stop here...welcome...
Most of my daily thoughts get lost when such a disaster like a tornado touches down...yesterday in Oklahoma...an area called "tornado alley"...a horrible phenomena where the winds of the gulf, meet that of the north, and the surge of the west heat...and the twisters are created and last in such a quick and deadly form...there are grades of severity...and the worst sucks you out of whatever you have as prevention...absolutely the most scary thing...
The numbers of those who lost their lives is sketchy...no power...and the rubble left behind...well...the peoples are looking for the survivors...
The length of time is much more than I would think...like 20 minutes or so...and the width of approx 2 miles...oh my...devastating...
OK, the other stuff...
The Padres have won their 3rd in a row...starting off the 1st set with the Cards...I think the best part of this team is the defense...especially the remarkable young SS, Everth Cabrera...has a gun...and has developed as a great lead off guy for the O...somehow, Jason Marquis, has won his 5th in a row...he is a pitcher...his ball is not fast...but it moves all over the place...
It's the law of the golf land...now...the belly putter has been banned...that starts in 2016...no more anchored part of the body...I think it's a fair rule...odd thing here...with all the peops I play the game
with, NOBODY uses one...but, there are some of the pros who do...and I smell litigation on the horizon...
You know how much I follow the DWTS Show...except, yesterday I taped it...and have not seen the finals...I did read the bloggers view...will watch it this eve...obviously, we never vote...it should be between the Disney Gal and the Country One...so says me...
Idol thoughts...have you heard the song that Kree put out?...it's not half bad...really...and Candice was on Kelly, Michael, Regis, and Kathy Lee's Show yesterday..it wasn't that good...my fav, Angie, has yet to put one out...she is a can't miss...
Little things bug me so much...we have a clogged kitchen drain...and we were plunging the heck out of it...no luck....so have to get a pro in today...geez...I hate this...hate it...and being in a high rise, it's diff than only dealing with the ground beneath your own house...hey, there you go, an advantage for the house dwellers...
Have you been following the spat between Sergio and Tiger?...Garcia accused Woods of cheating for the last 15 years...I guess he may be talking about roids...he is not specific...???...antler spray?...needless to say, they are not going to become friends any time soon...
The Bolts...picked up rusher, Dwight Freeney, from the Colts...33 years young...should help us big time...if...and the other topic...every single day...is...Manti for real?...SD won't let the press at him...
And the Pads are dogs, yet again...
When does the NBA east start?...eegads...
