I sometimes eat my words...hey, the Pads won a game!...still...with a stumbling, bumbling way about themselves...squandering chances to score runs...base running errors that resemble bad coached teams...er, bad players making normal choices for whom they are...YET, they got a W...so shut the heck up, CH...

Idol...the judges continue their bizarre rants...as there is a hot rumor about JLo coming back and saving the show...hey, the singing comps are killing each other...let's just talk about this one...Angie Miller is the real deal...never can tell that the public will see it that way...but she is the best since Carrie...

Today belongs to the NFL...as it has made the draft a special day...probably doesn't mean that much to you, unless you have a passion for the sport...it IS the American pastime...big guys beating up on each other...I am following the plight of the Eagles (Chip) and the Bolts...

The coward's mom is on the tube right now....disgusts me and I have zero compassion...she may be part of the problem...speaking of the terrorist...he has reportedly clammed up once his rights were read to him...you know where I am on this...

For all the great moments in last week's Survivor, this one was ordinary and bland...and the long shots were cut down...

NBA...dang, there goes the Lake Show...the Spurs rested their guys for almost the last month, to get ready for the 2nd season...I just don't see any breaks for any of the top dogs...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
