Pardners

Let this be the 1st time I have heard of such a thing...outside of a merger of them in the financial phase of American business...diplomatically...where the USA and China agree on...North Korea...as they fear for the world...the little engine that is trying to roar...as the leader of that country is but a young pup...not exactly sure what he is able to do...but sanctions are imminent...if there is a world policing group, now is the time to act...

The Bachelor...well...he was on the hot seat as the show gives a "Women Tell All"...episode...the dude, Sean, has tried to stay on the up and up...all went fine until the gal who was number 3 wanted answers...and definitely got him to squirm...as she accused him of saying some damning things to her, privately...that he flatly denied...ha ha...oops...let's be honest here...one of the two was lying...and the show brought out the villain, Tierra...the other gals lit into her like the 4th of July...do not anger a crowd of jilted ladies...

Speaking of that...the Bieber has grown too big for his britches...ha ha...outside of him wearing the saggy pants...on purpose...he figures he can be a diva...show up way late for his own concert...he did this in London...came out 2 hours late...began his "set" after 10 pm...where most of his crowd are teeny bopper crazies...and it was a school night...and they didn't stay...who that did...boooed the foo...his 15 minutes are about up, right?...

Have you noticed that the highlights of all these reality singing shows are not the singers, but the naming of the new judges?....I mean, c'mon...it just goes on and on...the new crew of Idol has been especially turrible...they take away from the show itself...the gals in particular...what they add is less than average...bring back JLo...

The tape of the nurse refusing to give CPR to a failing senior...because the place that she worked didn't provide for it...isn't that a humanity thing?...if you have the ability, doesn't the good sense of being a nurse override this?...I mean, this is what you do...take care of people, right?...to just sit there and do nothing is beyond me and all comprehension of being a decent human being...

Sadly, the firing of coaches comes about this time of year...for college hoops...fighting to keep his job...is USD's Bill Grier...in the same league as perennially potent Gonzaga...where he assisted forever...and he hasn't got his group to that level...recruiting is a brutally hard business...and he hasn't brought in enough of the upper tier players to win...enough...maybe he'll get another year...maybe...doesn't help when across town the Aztecs win...a lot...and fill up their arena...USD does not...

Kind of like the comparison of the Ducks and Beavers...where OSU has got a fresh set of uni's and a new Beaver...so...now, they need to get a new offense...as what they use is old and boring...fans go crazy over the Ducks stuff...the Beavs?...not so much...continue the process, Corvallis...you are on the right track...

And another snowy week ahead for the northeast...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
