The best picture?...Argo...hey, I didn't seem 'em all...but I did see this one and it was a great movie...my take on all the lengthy festivities...

The host, Seth McFarlane...I like him...who is he?...he surprised me with some raunchy stuff...never thought that the Academy folks would let that go...really, pretty funny....as good as Johnny Carson or Billy Crystal? ...naw, but OK...

I guess that the memo for the Grammy's didn't apply for the Oscars...what?...the wild ones were tame and the stuffy ones were over the top...of course, the dresses are the fodder for the likes of rubber face, Joan Rivers...whatever....and by the way, why was Housewife (?) Star, Brandi Glanville, there?...OMG...she has to have a hell of an agent...

Goofy sound...with the orchestra off site...and the music piped in...it made the singing muffled and a bit distorted...too bad...the best?...Barbra...and Jennifer Hudson...the worst?... naw, won't go there...

Seemed like the favorites won in the best of categories...the fact that Ben Affleck wasn't even nominated for the best director was odd...that honor went to the Life of Pi one...looked like a cool film...

I am a waiting for the dvd release of some very interesting flicks...Lincoln...Life of Pi...and that Eagles one...

Other stuff...
The best kept secret around here...that the OSU Beaver's baseball team came into SD and swept the Aztecs...which were fresh off of doing the same to the highly touted USD nine...which should mean that the Beavs are a very good group...

Danica P came in 8th in the Daytona 500...JJ won...have to admit, I have never, ever watched one of those events...just can't see the attraction...best finish for a lady...

PDX beat the Celts...at home...good stuff...they broke their 7 game skid...ouch...unfortunately, the playoff hopes are dwindling...the Lake Show got a game Dallas Mavs and got closer to number 8...boo...

Matt Koooooocher beat Hunter Mahan for the Match Play title...eegads, that weather was turrible...made me uncomfortable watching it...not the way the game should be played...off they go to the other coast and get warmed up...

Is the Catholic Church scrambling or what?...for that matter, all churches...
