American Idol

First of all, thank you for referring this blog to others...and if you are reading this for the 2nd time, welcome back...my fav reality show...
American Idol...which has brought us the likes of Kelly and Carrie...has started their latest version...the silly season of the auditions, the group sessions, and the goofy producing is over...the judges best picks are before us...and yet, they are not done...as they pick 10 of the final 20...and then...it goes to the public for the voting...that's a mouthful...the gals went last night...and I thought 3 were dynamite!...
Here's the deal...I am not fond of the judges this time around...the gals, in particular...BUT...they got the right singers...so, maybe they are not the best at expressing themselves, but their picking process is good...in the end, it's the talent that we watch...not the judges...
As far as the best panel?...JLo is at the top...and as much as I got tired of his ridiculous bravado, Simon was usually spot on...Randy is consistent and OK...Tyler was great..
The guys go tonight and I have no clue...yet...

Staying in TV...Survivor...some of you are tired of the format...not me...it's always good...and this time around, the fans versus the favorites is entertaining...sure, there are some knot heads...that's old school talk...but the interweaving of personalities is fun stuff...I just can imagine how smelly some of those blokes and blokettes get...and...how some can actually have a showmance is beyond me...no picks to give you...

Kudos go out to my old coaching high school...West Salem...as both the boys and girls won their leagues...and the way the boys did it...a long distance 3 pointer at the buzzer...it was way cool...that beat my old head coaching school...???...you know what I mean...here's the deal...the way the state tourney goes...all teams are in...what?...it's a goofy way of doing things...so, losing a game like that, means little in the big scheme of things...

Tournaments...the Mountain West has a dilemma...the season ending thinger...has found a nesting place in Vegas...much to the chagrin of the coaches in the league...as UNLV plays way diff in their home stadium...but their college prez's think in terms of $...and people will travel to Nevada...thus...a permanent site in Las Vegas...

For all the banter about possible trades in the NBA, there has been NO MOVEMENT!...Geez, I am really surprised...the Lake Show more than all the others...they are not good...and will wallow about...Dwight is not what he once was...and neither is Pau...

Shootings...it is at an epidemic level...happens all over this land...yesterday in Vegas...and up the road here in Leucadia...and in Chicago....and the list goes on and on...we have to have some restrictions...something must be done...you NRA peops, you have to see the right to bare arms is more than just that...we read about more shoot outs now than ever before...

Reading a book about Don Rickles...light, fast read...we have a Condo Library...where in lieu of trashing your read books, you share them...good stuff...

You been following North Korea?...for such a financially strapped nation, they sure have the money to fund their military...and the US of A is one of their targets...you ever get a little worried about the evil people in this world?...I do...not a time to be traveling about....so says me...

OK, I am all over the place today...the golf T in Tucson...snowed out!...geez, we have had some weird weather...global what?

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
