1 and Done

You trying to follow the D-1 hoops season?...I bash the over-rated Ducks...but...the fact is there is a bunch of average teams out there...ranked quite highly...and then they get whupped by some nobodies and the fans rush the floor with exuberation...geez, is that even a word?...if not, it should be...you know I think the best teams are in the Big 10...or whatever Ohio St, Michigan, and Indiana are in...here's the deal...the best young talent play in college for only one year before they can be drafted into the pros...1 and done...so, it's hard to get any rhythm going for those blokes left behind...so hard to recruit...knowing that the best guys are gone after but one season...so...
who are the best left over teams?...the aforementioned 3...and...Miami...Duke...Gonzaga...well...the list goes on and on...some call it parity...I call it mediocrity...

Grammy Awards...another set of statues for the needy...ha ha...it does grab my interest because I consider myself music biased...OK, not so much some areas of it...still can't dig the rap crap...but the rest, yes...but the show has raised an issue to the attendees...cover your stuff up...what?...tell the "out there" folk to be mainstream...no way, baby...it's the allure of them type...have to believe that some will go over the top...so to speak...is this on CBS?...

To borrow from Bravo TV, there is a drinking game for the Grammies....take a sip of your fav concoction whenever the mention of the K fam happens...or they show one of them...you probably need more than a fifth of bourbon for the game...

NBA...I have kind of lost interest...geez, the season is soooo long that it gets boring to me...kind of hang on until the playoffs start...got to feel that the players are the same way...that's when you get "mail in" games...if you are just out of the playoff scheme you'll work a bit harder, to get in...thus the Lake Show showing some energy...

Nemo...unbelievable snow storm in the northeast...and we are upset when it rains here...so spoiled...it was absolutely beautiful out at Sycuan yesterday...a bit chilly...and you would never have known it had the moisture the day prior...drains dang well...or, it too, is needy...

Manhunt...I'm thinking that the bloke used the burned out truck as a diversion tactic...he's probably been planning this kind of thing for some time...and he is enjoying the chase with his former mate types...hiding in plane sight...this story is ongoing...
