The inevitable happened...the firing of the Bolt's GM and Head Coach...which I have been bantering about for over a year +...by all accounts, Norv is a great guy...which may be the problem...CH thinks that the boss needs to have a little edge to himself in this ferocious league...the Pink Slip Day...where 7 teams released their guys...Chi's Lovie, really?

In San Diego, I blame it all on me...what?...Before I got here, both the beisbol and football teams were flourishing...as I have been told repeatedly by my golfing blokes...and I brought the Oregon rain and bad fortune to this grand old city...ha ha...not really...this football team has been a victim of extreme bad management...the beisbol team has had a lack of $...anyway, today we talk about a new direction...with a number of names being thrown around...let's start with a guy that is innovative, a great draft, and a young, mobile QB...

Let's see...you are getting huge accolades for getting preggers...and flaunt this throughout the airwaves...even though, from all that I can see, you still are married to another bloke...what?...some might call that out of wedlock...and other worse names...what?...the K fam continues to dominate the social media...with KK going the new route...oh my...

Speaking of messes...what on earth is that fool doing with the Trojans of USC...his bizarre appearance on the sidelines was just an indicator of the turmoil that Coach Lane has laid on this school...let alone the awful showing the team had against one of the only ones that had a losing record in the money bowls...Georgia Tech, the wishbone whacking wonder, sporting a 6-7 record...ripped the hapless Trojans...totally embarrassing...

OK, let's get on to the better bowl games...hasn't there been a bunch that you wondered why they are playing?...I sure have...KSU and UO in Arizona on Thursday...actually have a huge $10 bet on this one...straight up...I would not give points...it will be like 49-48...seriously...arguably the two teams that should be playing for the BSBCS title...if there was a playoff, they would be there...so says CH...

Coach Chip...I am afraid that he will jump ship and try his luck on the next level...the hot rumor was that he was going to Tampa Bay last year, but UO wouldn't give the Duck job to his O coordinator...apparently, now they will...so there are 7 spots available...he is mentioned in a small, select group of blokes...Philly seems to want him real bad...

Let's pick 'em today...Gator...Miss St over Northwestern...Heart of Dallas...Okla St over Purdue...Outback...S Carolina over Mich...Cap 1...Georgia over Nebraska...er, I picked everyone other than the Big Ten...ha ha...and finally, in the Orange...in the joke game of the day...FSU big over N Illinois...what?...this is a BCS game?...BSBCS....

Time to take down Xmas decorations...geez, it so purty...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
