Chip Stays

I guess that Philly couldn't offer him enough to bolt to the Eagles...so for now...Chip Kelly is still a Duck...I am real surprised...it seems to me...the only thing he has to do is win the BSBCS title...and his returning team has a great shot at it...BUT...every once in a while a bloke comes along that should try his hand at bigger and harder things...I think he should give it a go...could be that the available choices are not a good fit and he'll wait...yet another season...the Duck side of the state of Oregon let out a big sigh of relief...you KNOW what the other side said...and it wasn't pretty...

OMG!....the Lake Show continues it's spiral downward...as the LA fans keep chanting "PJ"...er, for the much heralded and wanted coach, Phil Jackson....ha ha...it'll take more than that...and it won't happen...they are already locked into ridiculous amounts of $ paying two coaches...I'm going to give LA an out here...they got beat by Denver, who is a darn good team...it's not an upset...BUT...the Lakers are also playing under their ability...crappy D...and they are now pointing the fingers of blame on to others...lurve it...

The Skins had no right playing RGIII yesterday in their loss to the Seahawks...they were risking permanent injury to the sensational QB...and also, gave themselves no chance of winning...

That's it, I am outta here...have an 8:03 tee time...I'm going to try to beat my 42 putts from Saturday...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
