Attempting

At least they are trying to mediate...Prez O and not my fav, Behner...met yesterday at the White House...attempting to find a compromise to avoid the "fiscal cliff"...on a Sunday...indeed...must have been bad golf weather, eh John...

The Lake Show is borderline miserable....losing this time at home to the bad traveling Jazz...who had a very easy time destroying the Lakers...yup, I said destroying...this time, World Peace (ha ha) sat out the 4th...I'm not sure I see promise on the horizon for them...have to admit, I lurve to see them lose...sorry LA fans, but it's true...my Blazer blood is very thick...HOWEVER...I am extremely excited at the play of the Clips...you must watch them...it's the way the NBA blokes should play...

Who would have thunk how the Amazing Race ended up...the most feeble of all the teams...won...quite often, this tandem wouldn't even finish a task...yet, by the luck of the timing of it all...persevered....and found the last task that had no physical elements to it...and they lucked out...my team, Lexi and Texi, finished 3rd...dang...

Hold the bloody phone...the Bolts won...what?...won?...at Pitt?...what?...all the pieces fit together just right...good field position...opportunistic D...and just enough of Norvy's goofy play calling to pull out a win...never, ever, bet on the NFL, kids...it'll drive you to the poor house...BUT...watching the Pack and the Lions play in the snow was great fun...I'd pick GB for a long run...but their D isn't good enough...

This just may be a movie house night...still checking out the options...here's the deal...we have two venues to pick from...one is 3 blocks away at Horton...the other is 5 blocks away at the Gaslamp...am always amazed that no one is ever there...how do the stars make money like they do?...leaning towards the James Bond one...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
