Near

Hey kids, good morning from near paradise...I mean Maui is that, but this place is dang close...in a couple of hours I'm going to be on the course...it'll be 75* or so...and yet, we've had a bit of a chillster...like, it's been down to 57* or so at night...totally unacceptable...it's the facts mam...only the facts...

Our fav watering hole, Las Hadas, the owner there is a former Duck...so he knows all the ins and outs of what's going on...and we are both questioning the 21 1/2 point spread against the Stanford whatevers...last night was Taco Tuesday...the biggest $2 tacos you will ever see and consume...

DWTS got rid of Kirstie, I mean c'mon, not even close to the rest of the crew...and Gilles, too...tuff call there...he is dang good...but...all the rest are so...good TV...

You been following the Miami Marlins?....complete deployment of most of their good blokes to teams elsewhere...can you say, fire sale!...just after opening up a brand new stadium...what?...

I can't believe Thanksgiving is only a week away...this year has flown by...er, I can't believe you white people stole our land away...and then decided to share a meal with us...not exactly how it happened, but it makes for good blogging...

I can understand why the very rich are so upset with Prez O...their little nest egg is to be chipped off a bit more...and after all the money they gave to Mitt to save their fortunes, well, it's like a double hit...if you will, or if they will...they will spend a bunch more to save some, through their lobbyists...for sure...follow the money, kids...

Quick, tell me one person you know who makes more than a million dollars a year...like not just one of your friends, but somebody you know of...for most of us, it would be an athlete...but them other blokes, where are they?...try Manhattan and Texas...OK, maybe in LA, too...

I am not kidding you now, the new single by Kelly Clarkson and Vince Gill will be a tune you will play over and over and over...trust CH...

By the way, have you hooked up AirPlay to your TV system yet?...check it out...I think it is iTunes backed...

Got back in time to watch the Lake Show...and they lost to San Antone...can't believe Tim Duncan can still play as well as he does...C Howard is coming along just fine...not so much Gasol...real interesting what the new Coach D'Antonio will do...rather than Phil Jackson?...so odd a move...signed him for 3 years...hmmmm....

Time to start getting ready for some golf, kids...you have a great hump day!

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
