I'll Do What I Want

Gregg Popovich...Pomona Sagehen grad...has endured a legacy in the NBA world as a great coach...hard thing to do, seeings he doesn't have the champ hardware that Phil Jackson owns...and is old school...in a world that the inmates run the asylum...HE is the boss...and San Antonio buys it...enough of the preface...you get my drift...WELL...he decided  to rest 4 of his starters last night in their match against the Heat...in Miami!...what?...in fact, the players didn't even make the flight to the game...the league is reacting big time...they are upset...the game?...the Spurs almost pulled it off...as the Heat played like zombies and it was a farce...until the last couple of minutes...when LeBron turned the game into a W...and I watched it...so think about it...they decided to give a game, and rest up their stars for games that they could or should win...what say you?...by the way, one of the blokes who did the TV announcing was the one and only Chas Barkley...people love him...as he says whatever he wants...thing is, he wouldn't shut up...ended up being a distraction...so says Crazy Horze...

LiLo...I have been mentioning this a bit...and it has been as a jokingly passing comment...thing is, she is out of control...pretty much has bypassed the judicial system...knowing that she can get by, due to her "star status"...well, I think that she has finally burned that card...and, of course, the press is eating it up...she will have a huge melt down for everyone to see...so sad, huh...and, well, she deserves it...

Glee...alright, I admit that I am hooked on it...not sure where the story line is going all the time...do miss the graduated stars...they have to find a new show to feature them...it would be great...

Behner...I just can't imagine a guy standing up to the rest of the country and steadfastingly boast he is going to block all tax hikes to his rich friends...that he signed a pledge ten years ago and it will be honored...like, times don't change?...wonder how much money he is making from his lobbyists to keep that pledge?...

Day 4 of this flu/cold...definitely think it is the flu...have had numerous bouts with headaches, stuffiness, achiness, coughing, wheezing....repeat...and no one thing seems to conquer it...I guess it's going to take time...

So, the UN recognizes the state of Palestine...and the US and Israel voted against it...what an evil web we weave...

This flu has made me increasingly stupid...I was writing about something, and somehow the Mac starting erasing it....and then...I couldn't remember what I was writing about...

You want to be a pro football player?...watched real closely last eve at the Saints's QB Brees...as he was running for his life...those blokes will kill you...and, staying on QB's...Louisville started a 5'8" one against Rutgers...he looked tiny...but moved well and had a helluva arm...and they won...no thanks...

UCLA at Stanford tonight...we'll see if the Bruins threw(lost on purpose) the game last week, so they didn't have to play at Autzen...many pundits are saying they did...ho hum, pundits...

Make this the last day of the sickness...just thought, that could mean a lot of things...
