That's right, October 8th...Native American Day...I have pictured here Crazy Horse...it is of great humor to me, when peops hear that I am NA, they always, ALWAYS, tell me they are part themselves...and it's always vague...there must have been a whole gaggle of Cherokees, as that's what most of them kids say they are...regardless, I thank my mom and dad for my rich heritage...Our tele had the Pats/Broncos game...the battle of great QB's...Denver is much better with Peyton going hurry up...wait, the Tide's Saban would like to abolish it there, too...didn't he try to coach in the NFL?....how'd that go, Nick?...I digress...and the rookie QB Luck looked like a million plus bucks as the Colts beat the Pack...where there appears to be a severe lack of D... did not watch a down of the Bolts loss to NO...you know the dinner party...but saved myself some frustrations as the outcome was what I thought...the other highly heralded rook QB, RG III, went down with a blow to the head, and the Native American Redskins (what other color could they possibly be) lost to them white skins and black skins....
The polls (AP) are out and the Ducks remain number two, right behind Nicky's team...the big move was the "ugly" Beavers, who have moved into the top 10, yet are number 14 in the coaches poll...the team I am watching out for the most...West Virginia...sure, you have your Kansas St, South Carolina, and Florida....and Notre Dame...but they will get beat...plenty of games left...and that bloody Ohio St team intrigues me...and oh by the way...BYU is favored on the early line over OSU...what?...
It's hard not to talk about the Prez race...there are staunch left and righters that will vote their way, regardless of what is said and done...but the tweeners, newbies, and crossovers are what all the super-pac money will be thrown at...sure seems like there should be a better way...and this week, the VP candies go at it...sit down at a table, it is said...does IT make a diff?...
And you say politicians don't do anything...the Guv of Cali, Jerry Brown, okayed the release of the winter blend petrol! Hooray!...and we will see the price of it drop back to the $4 dollar range again...
Beisbol...playoffs...where is the banter on the Giants?...wow...they are getting their butts whupped...as is the other Bay Area team, them A's...if the trend holds up, that'll do it for Cali...time to move on to basketball...what?...yup, the pre-season games have begun...where did the summer go?...
