Beavs!

It made no difference who the QB was, as the Oregon State Beavers rode their incredibly strong defense to a stomp at BYU...and get this...they WILL advance up the rankings...like number 7 probably...this is the last time I'm going to say this...I am really surprised...not anymore...they are a solid group that deserves what they are getting...maybe, just maybe, the Civil War could be for all the marbles...

You want some upsets...here you go...West Virginia took a stumble in Texas and will drop down for awhile...never saw that coming...and South Carolina...got the L at LSU...kinda figured that one...and the Irish were very lucky in the abominable call that led them to their W....Stanford got robbed as they scored in OT, and the refs disallowed it...something was and is fishy...Oklahoma in a tornado over Texas (bye bye) and this...Alabama (1) won easily, as did Florida (4)....but KSU (6) and Ohio St (8) survived huge scares...

Beisbol...I like the playoffs now...Detroit and NY...as the Tigers went in to NY and won in OT...the big news here was that the best Yank, Derek Jeter, went down with a busted ankle...and SF and St Louie...lots of Giant fans down here...

NFL...the Bolts host the Broncos and Peyton on a Monday nighter...and SD is favored...totally depends on whether the D sits back, or they blitz...who knows what the legendary Coach Norv will dial up...

Mark Sanchez of them Jets, is number 6, and has a passing rating of 66.6, in the last Monday's nights 666th game of playing on that day of the week...

Here are my picks for some key games today...Baltimore over the Cowboys, Atlanta over the hapless Raiders, the 9ers over the Giants, and GBay over Houston...
