Final Day

Sad to say, but it's the final day for the races out at Del Mar...just seemed to have flown by...and yup, I'm there...it will be crazy tough, with many hosses in every single race...not exactly sure how I'm going to bet...maybe I'll go with the red and purple silks that the jockeys wear...

Wow, went to bed and the Pads were tied going into the bottom of the 9th...against the hated Dodgers...and SD pulled it out in the 11th...great news as Chase Headley was named player of the month for the NL...just a few back of the DBacks...

The NFL kicks off tonight with the Giants hosting the Cowboys...I don't think I have a player on my fantasy teams from either one of them...had the QB Romo a few years back and he was just so so...

Big tell tale week for the collegians...UDub actually got enough votes to be number 26...ha ha...they go to LSU to get spanked and lose all the support they sort of got...Stanford only favored by 14 at home against football lacking Duke...what?...Oklahoma St, fresh off of an 84 point start, goes to Arizona...the Beavs home team dogs versus Wisconsin...and our home town SDSU Aztecs a 4 1/2 point fave versus Army...by the way, the Aztec coach still maintains his "brilliant game plan" was right on course in their loss at UDub...

Did you watch the Demo Convention last night?....prob not...but there were 3 of note...the Guv of Mass was great...the mayor of San Anton, is the rising star of the party....and the wife of Prez O, Michele, was splendid...she can speak...real well...I'm biased...Prez Clinton this eve...
