Indicatorz

Say what you will about the Chick-Fil-A debate that is going around the country this week...but it shows me an indicator on the strength of the conservatives...which appear to be led by the former Christian candidate, Mike Huckabee...is he being looked at for the VP spot?...the issue itself is all about free speech, where the CEO of the fast food chain believes in the one man, one woman, marriage...and, of course, the others are appalled...and this is the battle ground...on the premises of the chicken place...to me, I see a very interesting 4 months of politics...

I keep battering the coverage of the Olympics by NBC...I have no idea when, where, or why the network is showing the games...isn't there a list somewhere?...like I said before, China is the main competition for the most medals with us, er, the US...swimming....can you imagine the tracksters being able to run like 7 or 8 events like the poolers do...gal gymnastics were spectacular, right?...today, sometime, the hoops guys play...no idea when...boooooooo....

Just a short time ago the Pads were in the mix for the playoffs...yup, it's true...and we had a young crew getting the job done...and our GM at the time thought that we needed some old vets to finish off the season...which in fact that is exactly what happened...finished off our season...as we blew a 10 game lead and watched, as the SF Giants won it all...one of the key acquisition blunders was LF Ryan Ludwick...who not only didn't hit, but gave us a turrible defender...and yet he played every bloody day...I remember it like it was yesterday...and yesterday, that Ludwick, did it to us again...this time with his new team, the Reds....as he bludgeoned us with a 4 rbi game...his 2nd straight...booooooo...Cincinnati has a tiny little hitter's park...which fits him...a tiny little hitter...geez, I'm sounding bad...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
