Idle Idol

I am not sure where this show is headed...maybe, just maybe, the time has run out...and may give way to Simon's X Factor...American Idol...with the abandonment of the judges, they are in the process of finding others...Mariah, for sure...then?...it's so hard to say how they actually help and judge the young talent...rumors are that Nickey somebody and the country guy, Keith Urban...

Vegas has inked Tim McGraw and Faith Hill for a six week gig...starts in December...and we are so there...it'll be a hot ticket for sure...at least for us...not sure what casino has them...

There has been very little music that I have bought in the last 6 months...what is this all about?...Art Garfunkel is releasing his greatest hits...I have heard a bit of it, and it is so soothing...a huge talent...

The GOP has to find a musical theme, right?...it's kind of hard to get a music group that is repub...well, Kid Rock, is in the fold...what does he have that would fit Mitt?...

When we get back from Maui we have tix to CSN out at Humphrey's...actually, the first time we will be out there this season...

Sports...the Padres won their 8th straight last night...one of the pix from the AGonzo trade finally got his chance...Casey Kelly (P)...threw 6 shut out innings...topped at 93-95 mph, with a sharp 80mph breaker...22 year old with a lot of up side...ha ha, lurve saying that...not even sure what it means...

There's a Duck signee playing out at a tiny high school here...at Horizon Christian...Darren Carrington, Jr...will finally get out and watch a football game on a Friday night...got to watch out for the Ducks, huh...

And, Oregon starts out with Arkansas St?...what?...are they D-1?...the Aztecs are 14 1/2 dogs to the Dawgs...who do the Beavs play?...and the number one USC Trojans are favored by 40 against Hawaii...you have to start with the patsies...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
