Gun Control

And it seems like every bloody week we have another mass shooting...this time at a Temple...and I don't care what the reason is...it is downright scary....there must be something done to limit what the laws are on having firearms...as I have documented a lot lately...there is no justification ever...EVER...to legally have an automatic weapon...

The Padres have finally got themselves a new ownership...the group headed by the O'Malleys...ie, the one and only Lefty, er Phil Mickelson...this is a good thing...wait...a great thing...and SD promptly celebrated by whupping the Cubbies, 2-0...so happy to have former GM Jed Hoyer gone...and now destroying another team...see what the Cubs have done since he went there...

Did you see the often watched Jets had a major brawl on the practice field...sounds like they are ready for someone else to pound on...20 guys involved...Sanchez or Tebow?...ha ha...now, the announcer and former very average QB, Norm (Boomer) Esiason, has been popping off that Tebow should be cut...another day in the life of NY sports...

Had no idea the guys hoops team was on the tube yesterday...looked online and saw a comment on the passing of LeBron to Durant...and turned on the TV and found the game...start of the 4th Q...apparently, a very close one at half...NBC, booooooooooooooooooo...

To stop all the garbage about your tax past...Mitt, just show the returns and let's get on to more relevant things...right?...or...is this a real issue of substance?...

Elton John versus Madonna...ah, what a wonderful spat...she has gone around Europe and shown her true colors...and most of her private body parts...well...I guess they are no longer private...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
