Well, I'm not sure I can be unbiased...as a former republican...I have this ideal that we are in this together...and, I have heard the same things bantered about every 4 years when the politicians are running for their office...jobs, taxes, medicare, social security, health insurance, abortion, legal marriage, and balancing the budget...and they all say how they are going to change things...every 4 years...and does anything get changed?...outside of arming ourselves up for our many wars...no...this is just rhetoric...and if you believe in the "trickle down effect" of granting lower taxes for the rich...well, you do, don't you?...then you just may be buying into the latest version of the GOP...good luck...and, it seemed to me that Paul was just a little boy talking about big boy things...mostly just ripping the Prez, rather than giving concrete steps of "change"...maybe daddy Mitt will have more substance....

OK, enough of that...until daddy Mitt talks...the Pads won the series against the Braves...finishing strong mates...as the new owners finally took over...one missing part, Lefty...hopefully he gets aboard in the next 2 weeks...8-2 win...13 hits...my how times have changed...

Football starts tonight...college...the best of the best...such great life in the schools and the pride of it all...I am curious about UNLV...Saturday the Ducks host Arkansas St...how will the new QB do?...and the Aztecs travel to Udub...fear the Dawgs...and the BEAVS get a reprieve in their game with Nichols St...postponed...is Nichols a state?...I am also wondering how many teams go to the hurry up Chip offense...

The unbelievable tale of LiLo keeps going on...or is it a saga?...or is it a novel and all made up for publicity?...stolen jewelry chapter, unpaid hotel bill while doing a movie, and on and on...appears to be an infinite amount of stories...

As one democrat said of the young boy's speech, "the attack dog had no meat on the bone"...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......
