I'm going to tell you that LeBron James is now the best player in the world...reminds me so much of Magic Johnson...as he matures...got through watching the USA/France game from London...right, London?...I am amazed how Coach K gets these guys to play D...in a NBA land of no defense...forgot how good players of that caliber can get after it when they want to...or are driven to do so...

The pundits spend more time bashing the swimmer that loses than praising the guy who wins...c'mon guys and gals...

2 days left for the deadline of the MLB trading season...and the news is a popping about Chase Headley and the Yankees...nothing happening thus far...can I say two ings in a row?...isn't there a rule against that in our language?...I digress...SD has their best 3B prospect in AAA...and they want to bring him up so bad...or so it seems...

Your guy, Mitt, is overseas campaigning...what?...where is he trying to get votes?...I just wonder who advises him on that...and who is he going to name as his VP running mate?...lots of names....and the Prez's wife is in England...was at the guys hoop game...as they left they all hugged her...I thought it was cool...

Charger sarcasm...the backup QB for SD is out for at least 2 weeks (Whitehurst)...who virtually never plays...so we signed this former Cal QB, Kyle Boller...whose claim to fame is marrying the gal who was running for a Miss Something title, and answered "the Iraq"...and he boasted whether he was here for a day, a week, a season, or forever, he was happy...his forever was one day, as he quit after the session was over...

Say what you want, but the ladies from South Korea dominate the LPGA...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
