Hey, that's what we're doing right now...
Excruciating...pace of play in the Open...first of all, congrats to Webb Simpson, for coming out of the pack, actually make some birdies, and survive and WIN... the 2012 US Open...
BUT...the cameras followed the final twosome of Graeme McDowell (my pick) and Jim Furyk...as they played the course so slowly I thought that they had to be assessed a 2 stroke penalty for SLOW PLAY....hey, the LPGA did so a month or so ago to Morgan Pressel, that cost her the match...I digress...Furyk, in particular, is a very methodical player...er, slow...and he scored zero birdies the entire day....and choked it up on the last 3 holes and LOST the open...it's true...
It was a great Father's Day to sit in front of the tube and watch the drama...
The Olympic Course...I would not want to play it...up and down...with very few sights...looks boring to me...and eventually will eat you up...naw, leave it for the rich cats...
The Padres...I know, you are saying, quit bashing them...OK...they had a chance to win and actually get more wins than losses on a roadie...have you noticed I say "they and we" a lot...when I talk about SD...means the same...and thanks to the M's for that...I digress...now to Oakland...we were up 2-0 in the bottom of the 9th...they (A's) hit into a game ending double play...wait, the umpire blew the call...we play on...and the Pads survive, 2-1...my issue here...there must be instant replay...go check it out with all the technology we have now...get the call right...forget the crap about tradition...there has been so many alterations to the game...do the right thing, owners...wait, that is, if you have one...and there was this garbage about the strength of the minor league system of the Pads...brought to you by the recently departed GM Hoyer...perhaps, the worst in the business...check out the Cubbies, where he is now...well, the AAA Pads are 21-48 and sporting a 10 game losing streak, and the AA Pads are 26-41...
NBA... you do know that this series could be over...the Heat, just has to win at home and it's theirs...odd sequence...in all of the previous match ups. the games went 2-2-1-1-1....this one is 2-3-2...and why?...anyway, I saw little of this one...Miami seems to have more weapons...I'm sorry to say, but these games are of little interest to me...and...just watch, something weird will happen and the Thunder will win game 4...like Lebron getting in foul trouble...
If I hear another Kardashian memo, I may just go crazy...they are all over the airwaves...internet, TV, radio....and what it the fascination?...big butts are all over the world, so why?...their staccato talk drives me nuts...please, please, please! NO MAS!
