Save Our Padres

Well now, there may just be a new sheriff in town...comes here from this neck of the woods...to save our beloved and ownerless Padres...and he is part of a group of former LA Dodger owners...none other than Lefty...yup, Phil Mickelson...the golfing fellar...who just has a boatload of cash to invest...and why not on his hometown baseball team?...here's hoping this goes down...hip hip hooray!

And how are the Pads doing on their trip to the east?...turrible...lost 8 of 9 and 5 straight...however...bright spot looming...Carlos Quentin is the real deal...has a real live bat and will help the anemic hitting team...the pitching is sooo bad...including the relief corps...and now have...the worst record in all of MLB...

Hey, the mismatch of coaching is going on with the Spurs and the Thunder (Supersonics)...OMG...Coach Pop is running circles around OC...passing and moving...sure the Thunder will get one at home, but not two...and the Celts are but 3 games away from elimination...the Heat way too young and gifted to lose to the old folks...

So you watch the History Channel?...a must see mini series on the Hatfields and McCoys...Kevin Costner backed and stars in it...based on the feud of the 2 families just after the Civil War...and based on fact...just real well done and a must see...so says me...

Why does the Donald say anything about the election...he is a commentary wreck waiting to happen...does not help Mitt out a bit...in fact, he hurts him...Prez O and the birth place...really...again?...OMG...get to the real things, like who is going to profit from their guy getting elected...you want scandal...just follow the money...

You know, I didn't do the Beach Boys justice...the 5 remaining members are together for the first time for like almost 50 years...the Wilsons and Loves are about 20 years...but everyone, it's about 50...and they were great...they did need Jeffrey Foskett for the real high stuff...BUT...the energy and fun, fun, fun, was still there...like 45 songs worth...try that for another concert...anywhere...and their new release is dang good...

The NBA Draft lottery is tonight....and the Blazers still don't have a GM...and you aren't complaining Portland people?  What?
