Oops

Well, I have a lot to talk about...the trip to Vegas was grand...more about that later...more direct is my golf outing this am...as I thought that this would be a good day...76* and terrific...as I was walking on the 1st fairway, my pardner popped a ball into the lake...he was hitting a ball over the trees and I could see where it entered and I figured I'd be the good guy and fetch it out...took out my trusty ball grabber and extended it out as much as needed...the water was down a couple of feet...so there was an extra advantage in stepping on the ledge to retrieve the ball...however...my foot gave way...and slowly, then quickly...this old boy sunk into the lake...yup...the sides are concrete...news to me...and I slid right into the lake...right up to my neck...and couldn't get out...sounds funny now...I was kind of panicking...there was nothing to hold onto...fortunately, my buddy could pull me out...hit my back and elbows hard...not good for a 60 something old guy...so there I was...soaked from top to bottom....yup, I finished the round...put my glove on the putter, my hat over my 2nd driver, and my socks over the 4 and 5 irons...yup, I was a sight...

Vegas...the Mirage is awesome...the pool, bars, restaurants, and casino...1st class and just perfect...we saw the "Jersey Boys"...had no idea it was a Broadway type play...I will give it an A...going back at the end of the month on a golfing excursion with about 50 Sycuan members...

Idol...did the public get the final 3 right?  I think so...it's all about the songs at this point...I think it will be the two guys in the final...
