Lake Gone Wrong

Zip, they are gone...the Lake Show has met it's demise at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder (Supersonics)...gone in 5...now you either hate or lurve 'em...and the question marks start to pop up...who gets the blame?...Coach Mike Brown?...following a legend...so tough...releasing the reins a bit...and poof...the freedom was too much for the bratty big guy, Andrew Bynum...who turned out to be real selfish...and the trade of stable, yet, very hoop old, point guard, Derek Fisher...who was also, their voice of player's reason...and the unfortunate loss of Lamar K (Odom)...well...my take is...the GM...Mitch Kupchek...did such a poor job of surrounding ageless wonder Kobe...so, if anyone goes, it should be him...expect a major facelift to this team...as status quo will NOT WORK!...

DWTS...pretty cool finale...in my mind (who else's?)...Donald Driver was fantastic...and close second was Cheryl...and the blond was 3rd, yet got very favorable marks from the goof judge Len...so wide open and any of them could win and would deserve it...yup...

I have tried to watch this version of the Bachelorette...and find it BORING!...could be 'cuz she has NO personality...oops...maybe too strong for you who lurve the show....

We went for a great bike ride to the bay yesterday...there was wind, but it was warm...and felt so good...and for the 1st time in a long while...I waxed the Solara...man, it looks fine...today, I'm going to tackle the Lexus...so much more to do on it...taking a break from golf for a while...maybe like 5 or 6 days...

Idol...big deal down here 'cuz of Jessica...she be of Chula Vista...and they sing 3 songs each...this is the time that it makes little difference how they do...sorry, but after watching every final event...there is no rhyme or reason to the voting...as some can vote up to 10,000 times...what?...there is a better way...oh well...in this case, Phillip Phillips, will get a contract regardless of the outcome...

3 more days until the event of the month....The Beach Boys!...out at Cricket in Chula Vista...

Watched Charlie Rose interview the Beach Boys yesterday. very interesting. They were all heaping praise on Brian W. but Love kept interjecting his writing songs WITH Brian. One of my favs I hadn't heard in a long time is Warmth of the sun.

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

O Yeah!

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter...
