Idle

Were you like me on this?...I thought that the Idol finale was kinda booring....don't get me wrong...the last two are very good, but the songs that were chosen as their first release...not good...the music business is so hard to be successful in...as I have said before, the country field is a bit more accepting...pop is crazy...with the likes of Bieber making money...well, who knows...Jessica?...just don't think there may be an audience for her for a couple of years...Phillip?...more apt to put out a song that will click...does that mean he wins?...no clue...the voting process is flawed and has had many problems in the past...either one deserves it in my book...don't really care...

By the way, one of last year's top ten just released a CD...caught it on itunes...and there is some very good stuff on it...Haley Reinhart...really...check it out...

Idol graduates...Kelly Clarkson, Carrie, Daughtry, Kris Allen, Adam Lambert, Kellie Pickler, Katharine McPhee, and the list goes on...have done a lot with the platform...

Speaking of graduation....Glee...has decided to graduate their first group...it was a cool episode...and was perfect for the times at the high school...albeit, a bit more liberal than the average...

DWTS...you tell me that the free style doesn't dictate who wins that thing...as Donald Driver won...his dance was far better than the others...so says me...

As I talked about yesterday...the Lake Show has already begun it's finger pointing...right now, it seems like the major recipient is Pau Gasol...what a joke...get rid of Bynum...

The Pads...barely get any hits against the almost washed up Washburn of the Cards...awful, and very hard to watch...so I kept going in and out...shut down again, 4-0...how many times is that, this season?...

So you have the stock market figured out?...geez...and what was that Facebook stock fiasco all about?...

Pakistan puts the guy who triggered the demise of Bin Laden in prison for 33 years...for treason...from whom?...some how he under manned the government...really?...if so, we need to revise our thoughts about that piece of crap country...very bad news...

Back to hoops...Oregon people...aren't you outraged?...the product that the Blazers have put out is disgusting and undeniably awful...is there a real coach hired?...how about a GM?...putting faith in that team has become ridiculous...I mean, c'mon...turrible...booooooooooooooo....

So, I waxed and detailed the rigs the last two days...now have to go find some touch up paint...they look so fine...

And now but two days 'til the Beach Boys...and...I fear drizzle is on the way for that eve...outdoor seating...fingers crossed...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
