World Peace

Is this the end of "World Peace" as some of us know him?...what?...yup, this bloke, formally known as Ron Artest...committed an act of aggression in a game yesterday...let me set it up for you...
He plays for the Lakers...and has been on his best behavior for almost 2 seasons...changed his name this past year to...Metta World Peace...I am not lying...and due to the number of LA broadcasts here...I watch 'em lots...and find it way humorous listening to the announcers stumble over his new name...actually giving him the nickname "MWP"...ha ha...
Anyway, he reverted back to his evil ways...throwing a bone crushing elbow at the expense of a Oklahoma City Thunder (Supersonics) guy....it was vicious and malicious...and laid the player out for a minute or so, giving him a concussion...
So what is the league going to do?...it is a sticky situation for the Lakers...as they begin their playoff run next week...and he may be absent...
Are you kidding me?...he should be banned for a year...let's just see what happens...

OK, the bashing of the Padres is working...they have won 2 in a row...whupped the Phils 5-1 in the last game of the series...and now wait the hot Washington Nationals...really...who were the door mats of the league forever...and now get great pitching and are in line to be a playoff team....really?...and former SDSU stud, Stephen Strasburg, is their ace...and will not pitch here...as he is scheduled to face the Dodgers in their rotation...so a break, huh...but...the Pads suck...have to keep saying it to keep the streak alive...right?...right...

You watching the stock market?...geez, I have no clue...it is down this am....after a big rebound last Thursday and Friday...who is pushing all this?

I have not talked about Idol from last week...am a real fan of the double name guy...his rendition of the Wilson Pickett song was extraordinary...Phillip Phillips...
