This is the best week in golf...period...as the blokes head out to Augusta for the...Masters...no prettier course and is revered by all...great article in the latest SI...about the rookies staying in Butler's Cabin...the mystique and tradition involved...so very cool...my pick?...well, there are a bunch of possibles...but if you were to go with Lefty or Tiger...you wouldn't go wrong...Tiger...

There is no more drama in the game of golf than wrapping up the championship of a major...in the desert the gals had a dead ringer going...I K Kim has a one footer....yup, one foot...and she was tapping it in to win...and gasp...the bloody horseshoe...it was beyond a gimmee...and there she was...pretty much at a loss...and the picture will never, ever, be forgotten....all those yahoos who make you putt out everything for a quarter will bring it up...it is a guarantee...dang...I feel so sorry for her...and yea, she went out and lost the playoff...

So the gal who won the match play tourney, also won the T...so weird as the guy who won the match play tourney, won the Shell the same day...weird...

Kentucky and Kansas...it's the national champ game this eve...talent wise...Kentucky in a romp...as their starters will all be NBA'ers...I say by 10...

It just goes to show that anyone can coach the pros...some 30 something that has never, ever been a head coach is doing so for the Portland TBlazers...is 5-5...what a croc...booooooooo....

Did you catch any of the ACM's?...Taylor Swift gets the entertainer of the year award...OK, but she is no Carrie...who wasn't even nominated...by the way, I am getting bored with a bunch of the acts they have going now...Lady A, I am not...dyn-o mite...

And we taped and watched Donnie's Celebrity Apprentice...sure saw a different view of Arsenio Hall last night...maybe not the nice guy that he has been trying to posture...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
