Bigs and Littles

Let there be no doubt the difference with the Heat and the Blazers...I still have the vision of the break that Miami had where 4, count 'em, 4 of PDX players watched...WATCHED...as the Heat ran a 4 on 1 surf ride to the bucket...not only embarrassing but disgusting...it is a sham that this team is doing now...yup, LBJ and Dwayne are great, but the effort of the Blazers is turrible...2 ships passing in the night...

Your Idol top 13...you agree?...I pretty much do...the two top guys are there, as well as the two top gurls...the sing off was cool, except letting the kids beg for mercy...didn't like or need that...the song of the night was Carrie's "I Know You Won't", sung by the youngin'...tearful....

Florida swing for the PGA....wooah, be for Tiger...still struggling...as the ancient one, Davis Love...the 3rd...is in control...geez, lots of water there...I can't imagine the score CH would have there...certainly would need a dozen balls...

Survivor alert...nice job by the attorney...ha ha...it was fun to watch him get blindsided...arrogance goes nowhere on that show...wait...Russell held on for quite a while...but, didn't win...odd bunch of characters...

Set your PVR for the Padres game tonight versus the M's...opening Cactus game for the boyz...yoo hoo!

You see we have our weekly outing to Cocoa Beach at the end of June...I'm checking out the airfares for that time...OMG!...we need a fare war...c'mon...the prices are like way steep...

Still bummed that the 50th Reunion of the Beach Boys is not hitting our city...boooooo....

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
