So I tweaked my back....PUTTING...oh, I know, you are going to say I'm old and all that crap...that is true...but, my oh my...I had just figured what was the problem...and bam!  Not too bad...but is keeping me off the course for a couple of days...

Sin-lational....ha ha...the City needs a hero real bad...so the Knicks go to their bench and voila...up pops the perennial back up, Jeremy Lin...out of...HARVARD...has a great week and the Post and Times go ballistic...even sports expert, Kelly Ripa, raves...and throws a 38 on the Lakers...what?...true...take a look at the replay of your washed up PG of LA, Derek Fisher, get burned repeatedly...ha ha...

Not liking the weather out at Pebble Beach...Lefty and Tiger got in the mix...which means the TV ratings will soar...can you imagine being their partner as they compete for the title?...woah be that amateur...

And now you are thinking, what will I get my lurved one for the special day that the businesses put together?...I'm talking Valentine's Day, of course...flowers?...they better be the right color...chocolates?...they better be the right flavor...clothes?...they better be the right size...CD?...they better be the one that she (or he) likes....a dinner?...better be the right type of food...come to think of it...surprise her (or him) with a jar full of jelly beans...all colors, all flavors, all sizes, all rightee then...you can thank me later...

Tune in for the SDSU and UNLV game at around noon from Vegas....should be a beaut...breaking news...the line on the game favors the Rebs by ELEVEN...

We still can't find a decent pizza here...we'd do anything for a small resemblance to a Padington's Pizza from the Pacific Northwest...in fact, can't one of you send us one frozen in that ice pack they make?

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
