The Giants

The winner of the Sooper Bowl...the Giants...in a classic...as they out fought the Pats...good game...as predicted...and Eli has won the title twice in the last 4 seasons...just goes to show again, he who finishes the best, has a great chance of winning it all...

Not a winner was your gurl, Madonna...better than I thought, but still turrible...and why don't they put on newer acts?...who does the picking?

Great news out of Phoenix...in the Waste Management Open...as Kyle Stanley did what happened to him in the Farmer's the week before...made up a huge deficit and won...not so great for Spencer Levin...who faltered and got passed by Stanley and the Duck, Ben Crane...

It was a two day carry over for the Pick 6 at Santa Anita...and the favs came in...and over 600 got it right...so the payout was just less than $2 grand...normally, a huge payoff...

I did tell you about my sleeper pick in the NCAA hoops, right?...the Mizzou Tigers...as they continue their climb...now at number 4...

Did see the flick, "The King's Speech"....absolutely great...had little expectations...highly recommend it...

It's a short two weeks and we are starting the spring baseball...new hope for the Pads as their new GM is a pistol...wheeling and dealing and making the right(?) moves...we'll see...going to try to get over to the desert and catch a few games...

In the NBA, there is talk about relocating another franchise back in Seattle...the team that everyone says is on the the move is the Kings...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
