The Award's Season

And you thought it was NFL playoff season...heck no, it's the pretty people season...time to honor the rich and famous...with golden globes to continue to stroke their inflated egos even more than they are...and we watch...this particular one has some merit as it talks about TV and the movies...
"I'd like to thank the foreign press, my family and God"....
Here is my take....
I need to see the non-talkie show, that George Clooney has extreme merit, that Madonna is a very unlikeable person, that I don't like bouffant type dresses, that Meryl Streep always wins and is very good, and the show needs some musical interludes...

Now, the NFL...wooah...talk about some upsets...you know, we are but 2 games away from a Harbaugh versus Harbaugh Super Bowl...the Niners (Harbaugh) beating the Saints...didn't see this one coming...exciting finish...the Pats ripping the Tebow's...reality show finally proving true...the Ravens (Harbaugh) beating the Texans...watched zero minutes due to travel...and the Giants totally suffocating the Pack...it's a story of who finished the season the best...

I understand that there is need for the Martin Luther King Day, but, there is also need for a Crazy Horse Day, too...

Had a great stay in the desert with our hosts, the Crosses...the golf was fun...and the concert of Smokey Robinson was cool...he's an amazing dude...71 and can still sing it and move it, to boot...maybe, a bit too risque for some of you...but, his rendition of "Ooo, Baby Baby" was spectacular...

Did you catch Miss America?   nope, not me...dang, usually check this one out...

So you want to go on a cruise?  The debacle in Italy was a huge red flag for us...sounds awful...and the rumor that the captain departed before the guests...kind of reminds me of Castanza in the fire episode...knocking down the old ladies...

The GOP...one more bites the dust...as the former Gov of Utah calls it quits...endorses Mitt...the christian group has yet to say what they came up with...stay tuned...

And it is said that there are snowflakes in the great northwest...lurve the snow...
