Back When

The Blazers...and the good times of signing the top center in the collegiate draft...in lieu of the top scorer in it...well, it backfired big time...as Greg Oden, again...lays out another year...poor big fella, has the weakest knees of them all...that same bug that be- felled the real star of PDX, BRoy...I don't get the monetary thing of re-signing Oden for boocoo bucks and he is to sit out, yet another season...here is what they thought they were getting way back when...

OK, call me weird and wacky, but....as we were out and about yesterday...on our way to Solano Beach to Xmas shop at the Cedros District...we passed the Mormon Temples that have a Nativity Scene in their viewing compound...what?  It seems to me that they don't believe that Jesus is the son of God...thus why would they have the display?...is it sarcasm?...well, after some internet searching it was found...by my crack team of investigators (Marsh)...that the reasoning was...to let it be known that they recognize all faiths...or something like that...so that's their appeasement to the rest of the non-Mormon folks...well...

A forgone conclusion is that the Bolt's Coach, Norv Turner, is going to get his walking papers at season end...and, one of his big on air supporters, Jon Gruden, just may be the incumbent...
