Sure, it's not a positive thing...but needs to be mentioned...a record of sorts...giving up 8 home runs in your last 2 starts...the Padre's Tim Stauffer...here's my thing...he's struggling (duh)...and the management leaves him out there...NOBODY else does that...should pull him...rest him...and give him a go after a bit...instead, they wreck him...and say crap like "let's turn the page"...OMG!

Oh, you may not like this...but I can't imagine a more despicable candidate than Michelle Bachman...she wins the straw vote in Iowa...really?  So, you are saying that 27% of those repubs feel that she is the new leader of their party...really?  Don't they ever watch her interviews?  OMG!

Do you remember how big the Heisman Trophy winner, the Auburn star, the highly shopped collegiate athlete, Cam Newton, seemed last season?  He looks like a smallish QB in the pros...and didn't look that bad in his first exhibition game...

The PGA...OK, I don't know the top two guys...never heard of 'em...so do the masses watch?  Jim Furyk, Steve Stricker, and Lefty are lurking...naw, not Lefty...he's almost as lost as is Tiger...the course looks brutal...

One of my SD friends got a Traeger...so jealous...can't have 'em on my balcony...they are not that attractive...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
