Irony

Ever once in a while, a gotcha moment happens...where a fired worker gets to turn the tables on the former boss...well...caddie Stevie Williams, who was Tiger's bag man for over 10 years...got the axe from the newly changed Woods...as he was cleaning house to get a fresh start on his new life...OK, but the caddie?  Anyway, Steve (get the change?) Williams picked up the bag for a fellar named Adam Scott...who just happens to be in the same tournament as Tiger...so...Tiger is still struggling, and is 13 strokes back of the leader...Adam Scott...oh the irony of it all...

Good lord, what has happened to the Padres?  Scored 11 runs yesterday...got a 2nd grand salami in 2 consecutive days...this one by Kyle Blanks...who, incidentally, got credit for a triple, when former Pad, Ryan Ludwick, misplayed a single....look back at what I wrote about the Bucs...they are falling apart...

So the pick 5...yesterday at Del Mar was hit for over $9 grand...man, timing...and the winners weren't that long of shots...geez...

As I'm riding back and forth to Sycuan, I have been listening to XM, the fifties...man, those are just some great songs...
One of the blokes I play golf with was a child actor...he played in "Bye Bye Birdie"...a '63 flick that starred a most attractive Ann Margret...we saw it last night and couldn't pick Putts out...
We are planning on going to a couple of Duck games...one in Arizona and one in Palo Alto...

And finally...we have never gone on a cruise...so been checking out the new season and came upon a very interesting one..."A Cruise to Nowhere" by Princess Lines...actually it goes up the coast to Vancouver BC...so we are tentatively booking it...it's cheap and is in April...if you are interested, check it out, or drop me a note...

We are biking to Old Town for a Mexican Heritage Festival this afternoon...
