Geez, I was alive with three horses in the pick 5....3 is good...real good...BUT...not to be...my horses came in 2nd and 3rd...would have been something to hit it twice in the past week...make it worse, I hit the 6th...dang it...still, took money away and it was way fun...Del Mar...

Let me be perfectly clear...Michelle Bachman is a very poor candidate for the presidency...she refuses to honor what she has said in the past...hey, own it...or say, I was wrong...but don't evade it...I want another viable candidate to choose from... and, she is just a terrible option...get to work, Repubs and get a decent choice...or you and your secret society will still be just that...

What's the stock market doing today?  Europe was up, thus we are?

The Pads are back home...surviving the Reds and now, take on the Mets...so when does Rizzo make his reappearance?

It's been unseasonably mild here...huge contrast to that of New York...and, my oh my...why all the celebrity marriages this weekend?  Like weird...

Have you watched the Bachelor Pad?  Wooah, this is first rate garbage...or, Big Brother?  Seriously, dang good fun...

The PGA...what?  Keegan Somebody...as the other guy did his Shepard impersonation and fell apart in the stretch...if there is water or sand, I'm in it...I have to start aiming there...I'd never be in them...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
