My sources are saying that the NBA lockout is for real...there is a 99% chance of NO NBA this season...a gauge for us common man? How many of the players sign to play in Europe...Kobe is rumored to be the next one...
You think I'm kidding about the lobbyist's money that go to your congress person? Check out the latest info on Boehner, speaker of the House...and where it ($) comes from...like the tobacco industry for one...and then go to your state and check your peop out...you will be disgusted...
The Padres lose a 3-2 gamer at home...Ludwig leaves a ton on base...like I said before, a six pack would be a good deal...he's not a clutch player...and the Cards knew it last year when they unloaded him on us, via the play station GM...bitter am I, naw...we were 10 games up on the field when we got him, put him in the lineup, sent down the guys who were getting it done, and left him out there to morph in to our big late season collapse...bitter? naw...
Tiger Woods...man, it's a head scratcher...says he's going to play next week and then the next major...really? New coach, new caddie, new Achilles...wait, I have one of those and it doesn't heal up this quickly...I am very curious as to how he's going to do it...got my doubts, kids...
Can you tell me how the movie stars can get so much money? Whenever I go to a movie house, we are almost always sitting amongst maybe 3 couples, at the most...at $10 a seat, it just doesn't make sense...is it Netflix that gives them their income? Or On Demand, or what? I can't figure it out...
I saw a news flash that one of the three America singers died at 60 years of age...Dan Peek...who was not traveling with them in their act now...is there a better song than "A Horse With No Name"...they still perform here at Humphrey's...
The Bolts...did not sign their little scat back, Darren Sproles...he left for the Saints...they must like the little ones, as he is going to replace Bush...so that means we are definitely counting on the sophomore season of the running back, Ryan Mathews, to be a bunch better than his rookie one...an article in the Trib this am...beat writer, Nick Canepa, said they should be 4-1, no excuses...what? Does it go like that?
You kids remember the Big Red Machine? Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, Joe Morgan...on and on...it is said that that particular team could not be in this day in age...'cuz no small market could handle the paychecks...
