It's fantasy baseball at it's best...or worst...the MLB's version of it...as they trade away contracts to others...for the right pick to enhance a key piece in the race to the end, dump a high money player, select a blue chip wannabee...it's what the GM's live and get paid for...and now, a bunch of these guys are play station GM's...young guys in their early 30's...OK, you can see I'm not a fan...let's get to the Padres...the rumors have been out there for a couple of weeks now...the same names...Bell, Adams, Ludwig, and Harang...it was said they were going to wait until the Pads were out of the race...duh...done there...they seem to want to stockpile the blue chip wannabees...the Rangers are looking at Bell hard...Ludwig maybe to an eastern team...I'm going to be real honest here...he's over the hill...so if the Pads get a six pack it's a good deal...if Bell goes, Adams must stay...or vice versa....and Harang, well...
and the Giants...picking up Beltran for a blue chip wannabee...that's how it's done kids...but they have a base to do so...

OK, Congress people, earn your keep and settle this debt ceiling stuff...NOW...

And the NFL is in fast forward and I gots to admit it is real fun to watch...the Bolts are standing pat...just why does anyone want a broken down QB from the skins?

You'll love this...the Pads 2B, Orlando Hudson, catches a pop up and tosses it out of play...problem is that there was less than 2 outs...and the opponent scores a gift run...says he just lost count...he dropped a pop up earlier...says he closed his mitt too soon...he told a writer it's a tough game, if it were easy the writer would be playing...I can't make this up...
And now you know...respect me 'cuz I'm a pro and you are not...

If the golf gods would put the flags in the bunkers, I'd be a putting for birdie most every hole...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
