Memorial Weekend

Apparently the weekend now begins on Thursday...not too bad, huh...so it's a little golfing, fishing, traveling, picnicking, eating, praying...well, it's a full boat of options...
Hey, it's cool that Scotty won Idol...he was the pick for many a peops throughout this land...and I think he can make it...Lauren is a cinch to boot...I had a thought that she would win from the outset...I have not watched the final show yet...was it good?
The Mavs did another number on the Thunder (Supersonics) and won the series 4-1...bring on the Heat, I say...geez, I can't believe I'm pulling for the Mavs...
The Pads GM still makes the case that the hot prospect Rizzo is not ready for prime time...really, it's the options business...can't bring him up till June 1 due to money concerns...why can't they just say that?
This seems like a Sunday to me...

I'm here. Spent some time at the coast for Laurie's 50th. Ate the best meal and the most expensive I've ever had at a place called Resturant Beck. Located at Whale Cove. It was a five course meal
selected by the chef and ea. course paired with wine.$186 for eats and wine. That didn't include tip. Scotty should have won between those two. Amazing since the judges tried prejudice it the other way.

I can't believe you forked over that much money for a dindin...good on you. Scotty and Lauren were great. I liked her a bit more. And, I think the judges should have part voice in who wins.

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
