Game On

You are not on the fence...either you lurve or hate...the Lakers...and the peops around here lurve 'em...but...they couldn't close the deal in game one against the hated Mavs....wait, there's a bunch of hate going on here...so there must be a lesser of two evils...hey now, this is the game world, not the real one...so just back off...so plug in Dirk Nowitski and you have the toughest guy to guard in the entire NBA...yup, it's true...more than Kobe, Dwayne, LeBron, Melo?  Yup...he is huge, fades away, has great touch, and is a master flopper...and is very durable...OK, it's a long series and there's no reason for panic for LA, but we can hope...

The elimination of Bin Laden...first of all, those who are worried about reprisals...Al Quida wants to do harm everyday, whether their leader is alive or dead....and the scum of the earth just wants to kill...and it makes no difference if it's soldiers, women, children...there is no place on this land for that garbage...go ahead, establish yourself as the next scum leader, and we'll get you, too...
The Navy Seals pulled off a near perfect hit...just like on the movies...and the free world is rejoicing...and as more info is leaked...it just gets better...

Dancing With The Stars...bizarre move, inviting a celebrity judge to vote on the "stars"...wrecking a nice night of dancing...geez, your girl Kirstie, was awful, and the guest judge gave her a 9...OMG...OK, it's as phony as the Celeb App...but it is still kind of fun...boo on the new judge...boooooooooooooooo....

And the Pads got beat by a team as bad as SD, Pitt....and the Channel 4 pundits had the Pads whupping the Pirates...what?  If you can't say anything good about the Padres, don't say anything at all...so....

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
