Sure, you can talk about your royal wedding coming up...and sure you can talk about the pomp and circumstance of such grandeur...but, c'mon PDX, you should be talking about the 4th quarter rally that your old, beaten up, beaten down (by many of you), stitched together, legend of a star, Brandon Roy, did for you against the hated Mavs yesterday afternoon...down by 23 and flailing about, the Blazers turned to him and he responded in a monstrous way...ties up the series at 2...and you never know...Keep the faith, buy your season tix anyway, disregard the negative comments coming out of Padre blogs, trust the GM to bring in a better team than last year...blah, blah, blah...that is exactly what the Padre's brass what throwing out at us this off season...and just look at the offensive product they brought in...they bragged yesterday about the 40,000 people at the latest loss...only to not talk about more than 50% of the attendees were Phillie fans...sure, I feel horrible for the guys who are floundering about....like the 1B Hawpe, who is now batting .104...what? Is there any team ever that would stay with such a thing? Sorry kids, it's all about the money...the brass won't admit their mistake and release the guys who are being paid Padre $...you can't do worse than this group is...pay what it takes to bring the youngins up and live with it...it is a mess...
We went on a bike ride at the beach yesterday...I can't tell you how many people were there...but it was in the 50 thousand range...walking, riding, skating, surfing, basking, swimming, eating...a glorious day...from Mission Beach to Pacific Beach...a great ride...weaving in and out of the crowd...very cool stuff...
Is it time to stop hiding eggs when you can't remember where you hid them, how many you had, and who you are hiding them from?
