I bet you don't know this Padre...it's the new CF...Cam Maybin...who resurrected SD from an opening day loss at Saint Louie, with 2 outs in the 9th...with an awesome HR to deep center...tying up the game and then getting the winning hit in the eleventh...as the pitching staff had a gem and preserved the 5-3 WIN!  Hey, I told you it would take 5 runs to get it...

NBA beat...the Lakers destroyed the Mavs in LA...the lowlight was the ejection of a number of players due to a throw down of Blake by Dallas's Terry...enter the all time jerk of Matt Barnes, and the shoving match got embarrassing...of course the refs were trying to control the sit, but your boy, Joey Crawford threw a shove himself...he's a beaut...like in hockey, the stars were on the outer edges...


College Hoops...SDS's Steve Fisher won the Rupp Coach of the Year Award...nice, as he deserved it...so says me...by the way, the semi's are tomorrow...WIDE OPEN...

OK, OK, I am definitely country conscious...but the duet of Scotty and Lauren of Carrie's "I told you so" was wunnerful....on Idol...the gals that got booted last night...yea, probably the right choices...

The hottest day of the year, and yours truly is sickly...still got to swim in the pool and lay in the sun...but faded fast and was bed ridden from there on...
