Bribes

No, say it isn't so!  The possibility of another sports gaming fix...this time it's a surprise team in ...USD...hoops...and the money just keeps flowing all around the players in the collegiate world...
HBO just ran a piece on big time money made on college football and basketball...and the dough used to legally and illegally  recruit "stars" to schools...how the D-1 colleges turn their heads to all the corruption and cheating that goes on....to make money...
I am simplifying things here...it is much more complicated...there are those out there that say the players should be paid as they play...that a degree is not enough...if, in fact, they ever get one...so...the hanger onners thrive...in this case, it's for the purpose of making $ on fixed games...give the participants cash as the betters make moolah...
I feel it is rampant out there...I see it on all levels...I fear it in the officiating...I fear it in the coaching...I fear it in the players...and certainly not just in college, but much worse in the pros...I jest about never, ever, betting on sports...and I mean it...there's too much money out there bet on games...and there's too much to betting on a sure thiing...
The NCAA is hugely undermanned...can't possibly uncover all the corruption...
An overhaul of the system is needed...let's start with college...c'mon collegiate Prezzes, swallow the money pill and redo the system...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
