Hoopdom

The D-1 hoop tourneys are on...and it's the league frays we are watching...the Big East is big, so say the pundits...awful officiating in the final Rutgers/St. Johns seconds...I see the Ducks and Beavs won in the Pac 10...gosh, it is anybody's guess...tonight the Aztecs start in the Mountain...really it's up to you to watch what you want...now, if I were to get serious I'd pay a lot of intention to all of these...you know, the bracket thing...

Torrey Pines...my oh my, it just ate me up...the greens are ridiculous...the rough is so deep...but...I want to go back and do it again...it is def a most beautiful course...now get this, 'cuz I'm a city dweller, it cost me $24...all others pay $100 plus...the North is shorter than the South, but the greens are highly sloped, and they had the pins on the mounds....I'm sure they could have made it much easier...

Idol...well, I wasn't blown away by any of them...and especially, by the milk toast way the judges are commenting...sure they are not caustic, but maybe too much the other way...Pia can let it out, but she sounds too sticatto for me...is that a word?...once she smooths it out, she'll be the front runner...

Survivor...your boy, Russell, he's totally gone!  I really like this version...Boston Rob is in control and it is great TV...surprise that they have all gotten so skinny so quick...maybe that's what I should do...

The Heat go against the Lakers this eve...Miami on a losing streak and LA on a winning streak...so common sense says...but it's the NBA...and I say, don't ever, never bet on the NBA...

PGA...Lefty and Tiger in the same group at the Cadillac...something interesting about Lefty...Lee Trevino (the Merry Mex) made an observation about him...says he's really a righty and his power leg is wrong for him as a lefty...what?

In the Oregon hoops scene, does Jesuit win it most every year?  There isn't any recruiting going on there?

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
