Padres

My initial take on the new 2011 version of the Padres...not good...the strength of the '10 version is gone....that team was one game out of the predicted playoffs by this blogger...Adrian Gonzalez, Miguel Tejada, David Eckstein, Yorvit Torrealba, and their top two starting pitchers...filled in with lesser bodies...throw in a huge campaign of season tix push before all the changes...what I called blind faith...well, I'm not a happy guy...last year I said they'd be in the playoffs...this year competing with the DBacks, FOR LAST...sorry mam, just the facts...

Finally, the bad weather has hit this area...5 days of rain is the prediction...really is going to cut into my golf...Friday and Monday may be off...rats...but do need to practice my putting...just awful...

SDS hosts New Mexico this eve...another big game and a real test for sure...hey, the east coast scribes rave about the Big East, yet they have Kansas as the top dog...let's be real, the midwest is poor this year and they play very few good teams in their conference...the MWC is tougher...so I say...just watch the Big Dance and you'll see...

Is the middle east a mess, or what?

Just a so so Glee last night...do you watch the Wives of B Hills?  The dinner was a beaut....love the psychics...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
