Let's be perfectly frank about this, for the mess in the middle east, Egypt's Prez Mubarak needs to give up his dictator's throne...and yup, it does scare the heck out of me what will be left over...BUT...if you can go by the number of pure Egyptians who are tired of his tirades and brutality, it seems to be the solution...if you don't have a democratic society with regular elections, eventually you will have uprisings like this one...

Did you catch any of the NFL Pro Bowl game?  Ho hum, with the AFL (AFC) down 42-0 early...

Think LeBron doesn't have an impact?  The Cavs have lost 21 straight...ouch...

The Aztecs slipped to 7th in the nation....OK, there is still a lot of reckoning to be done...but a bunch of the teams in the top 10 got bopped to boot...seems that SDS took the biggest hit though...it's OK...They will probably run the table until the Big Dance...oh Yes, for you non-believers, it's a playoff...

The weather up north and east has been brutal...still so nice here...sorry, but it's true...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
