It's a Slam Dunk

Waiting for our table last night at dinner we heard this roar from the bar crowd...seems like this feller from the Clippers, yup, the Clips...was putting on a show in the Slam Dunk Contest of the NBA All Star Weekend...and we gandered at Blake Griffin do some very acrobatic things...and his final of the over the car and smash down was...spectacular!  I am one of the ones that like this part of the festivities...it's great TV and all...NOW, somehow it is to be written, that the wrong of not including PDX's LA in the mix...was a shame and a sham...the fans still vote for Yao Ming, who has only played 6 games in the last 2 years...correct this crap, NBA...

SDS survived at the Air Force...by the way, the Cadet coach is a real beaut...and got it's 27th win of the season...next up is the rematch of BYU...in San Diego...grand day for the Aztecs as two teams in front of them got beat, Pitt and Texas....should move up a notch or two...

Are you watching any of the PGA in LA?  None other than the sweet swinging, oldie but goodie, Freddie Couples is in the mix...just one back...and for all of us who like this you must catch it at noon on NBC, I think...

Spring training has begun in the desert...gosh I am hoping for some good news for the Padres...and you know, I'm a doubter...I'd like to get over there for a couple of days and take it in...just maybe I will...
