Wooah, NFL

I am not a seer of the NFL...in fact, I'm turrible...not a fan of them Jets....and voila!  They whup the Pats...at NE...and, Seattle at Chi-Town in the snow...fugget about it...
So, let's see...the Jets vs. the Steelers and the Bears vs. the Pack...stay tuned as I'm sure I'll pick the wrong ones...

I have been talkin for the last month about the demise of the Lakers...got beat last night at home (well, it was the Clips turn) to the other LA team...and...a minor scuffle in the last seconds, got a bunch of the boyz booted...ho hum...everyone was out on the floor milling about...except, Coach Phil, who didn't budge from his perch on the bench...kind of funny if you see the clip...
And the inevitable trade of Melo...he and Chauncey sit in the 4th Q of their loss at SA...how'd you like to have $ on that game?  Smelly pumpkin...

Your Golden Globes...the host Ricky Gervais...why?  I suppose their is a forum for his type of Don Rickles humor...but over the top...sorry cynics...nice to see Glee winning some of those awards...and just who does the voting on these shams?  And, we saw the flick with Annette Bening in it...it was awful...so poorly written....and it won the best of the best...ouch...

Hey, I've been thinking about the BSBCS...they got it right...let's do the same thing in hoops...drop the March Madness crap...these poor players are missing way too much class with all these playoff games...we'll call it the Hoola Hoops...and just like in football, we'll have a top tier of 8 teams....and they'll play in 4 different sites...once...and we'll use a computer to find out the top 2 teams...and they'll play for the title...no problem...what about the other 57 or so teams that have made the post season in the past?  Hey, they play in their own Hoola Hoop game somewhere throughout this fine land...and think about this...'cuz it's in doors, they can play this in the north, too...
