Hoop World

In the match up of 2 of the top 3 MWC's best...SDS survived over UNLV...resembled a civil war type game...not much offense, but a whole lot of D...18 straight!  And mighty Duke, got knocked off by very average FSU, in Florida...the Blue Devils shot over 30 3's...live by the 3 and die by the 3...that's the only teams I follow so far...

The Heat go into LA and get whupped...by the Clips!  Not a fan of Miami and loved this...lots of talk around here about trades in the NBA...why?  Anyhoo, the Blazers are shopping Batum, so they say...any truth to it?  Too bad, as I like him...maybe it's good for him, to get outta there...

We are on a quest to find a pizza down here comparable to Padington's...not yet...found a nice one in Little Italy...but just not the same...

Say what you want about Prez O, but he sure can give great speeches...

Gave up on a golf game yesterday, to go bike riding on the beach...no bogies (or worse) there...so nice...

Listened to some Art Garfunkel on vinyl...his rendition of "I only have eyes for you" is legendary...

Having a little party for the little woman tomorrow...just a little booze, a little cake, and a little set of hors de ouvres...

Practice time for my golf game...as one of my "good" buddies has said for years..."Why would anyone practice that swing?"...
