In a season that seems to last forever...my early season thoughts...
The Heat...so hard to merge 3 star types in a short period of time...and the lame duck coach...just when does Pat Riley take over?  LeBron could not have handled his leaving any worse than he did...I don't begrudge him for leaving when he wanted, rather than when they wanted to trade him...still, underachieving team right now...relax, they'll be in the hunt in 3 months...but with another boss...
Lakers...what, a 4 game losing streak?  I get to watch a lot of them down here and they are playing real passively for sure...Artest is out of control offensively and Fisher is sooooo slow, he can't guard any of the PGs anymore...Kobe is struggling with his shot, but he'll and they'll be just fine...win it all?  I don't think so with this lineup...expect a change or two...
Celts....deepest team in the league and I think the front runner for the champs...man, they seem to get along so well...a real great sign...
Blazers...well...I want so badly for them to be successful...but...just way too many holes to fill...they are actually running an offense now...not a fan of Nate...just don't think he's the brightest bulb on the string...
Mavs, Spurs, Magic, Hornets, and the Thunder (Supersonics)...the only ones that have a prayer...
College hoops...SDS and UNLV are going nicely...the Beavs got beat by Utah Valley?  What?  Who is the Duck's coach now?  Duke has a great frosh guard...very early...
Lots of banter about moving the Bolts up north to LA...eegads...
