NBA Beat Down

The transition of power has begun in the NBA...no longer is there fear of going to LA and taking on the mighty Lakers...mighty?, not hardly...soft and in a funk ...the swagger's got a dagger in it...San Antone and the Mavs have the upper hand in the west....and the two best anywhere?  The Heat and the Celts...I heard, well, the nucleus of Miami has only been together 30 games...what?  That's enuff, kids...
On Xmas day, LeBron and co. went into LA and DESTROYED the Lakers...let there be NO DOUBT who is the king of the pro circuit...and the pitiful Blazers...what a mess, and they are soooo poorly coached...sorry PDX fans, it's the truth...I only speaketh it...

The playoffs are getting pretty much set in the NFL...and the team that worked it's way out...yup, the Bolts...another pathetic effort at the lowly Bengals...let's be honest...they are unprepared...and yup, I've been saying it ever since I've got here...blown plays and flat out coached, again...my dad told me, if I can't say anything positive, don't say anything at all...so...............................................can't do it.....FIRE NORV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must be in a foul mood...dang, I woke up happy....60's and golf on the agenda...it's just not that bad...

I snuck another win in last nite on my picks. I'm the only one with one loss. About 8 have two losses and 6 with three losses. Alot of games this week and things will change. Everybody is still in it.

No and I have given copies of my picks to several people that are playing. Like you they question my crediblity which is completely unfounded. Ane i picked Air force tonite. That game featured two offenses lost in the 80's. God i used to hate that type of game.

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
